H.pylori Infections and vonoprazan
Hello doctor.
I am suffering from H.pylori and gastritis for 5 years. and used PPIs and Antibiotics many times but still have intensive inflation which distrupted my life truly and I am really worry it turns into dysplasia. Recently I have read about the efficacy of Vonoprazan compared to PPIs. Unfortunately doctors in my country dont have information about it and I need to order it online. I have some questions, would you please help me?
I have used 4 kinds of antibiotics before:
- Amoxiciline + Clarithromycine
- Amoxiciline + Metronidazole
- Amoxiciline + Levofloxacine
but medicine in my country (Iran) usually have poor quality.
I found a japanese website which provide vonoprazan with combination of Clarithromycine and Metronidazole. Since I used both of them before I dont know which package to choose? Is it possible that H.pylori shows less resistance to Japanese version of Clarithromycine or Metronidazole? Or should I take new antibiotics?
another issue is that the price there was about $150 but its less expensive in your website. Is the quality different?
I read many medical papers during these 5 years.I had a boyfriend which was suspected to HIV. look likes there is a higher prevalence of H.pylori resistance in HIV/H.pylori co-infection patients. is there any hope this nasty bacteria eradicate completely? I am really worry and dont know what to do. Please help me :((((
