Nalol 40mg (Propranolol)

Hi Dr, last time i had panic attack and now it sometime repeating and i went to clinic. Doctor precribe as anxiety disorder and he gave me nalol for 2 weeks. I didnt take it for the whole week but only use it when i went to crowded places. Usually 1 tablet per week. Is it ok?

For your information, propanolol is a drug under the class of Beta Blockers. Beta-blockers won’t treat the underlying psychological causes of your panic disorder , but they will assist you manage a number of your body’s physical reactions to anxiety, such as:

  • a fast pulse
  • shaky voice and hands
  • sweating
  • dizziness

By decreasing your body’s physical reactions to worry , you’ll feel less anxious during stressful times. It is imptotant to stick to your prescribed medications and follow the instructions given to see a better result of your medical condition. Hence, please seek medical advice from your doctor regarding your problem.
