First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. Based on your question about chitosan, it is possibly effective for person with high blood pressure and for recovery after surgery. For kidney problems, early research shows that taking chitosan by mouth may reduce high cholesterol, help to correct anemia, improve physical strength and sleep in people with kidney failure that are on hemodialysis. However, there is still insufficient evidence to treat kidney problems such as elevated creatinine level. Thus, to avoid any complications, physical examination is required before any medication or supplement is prescribed.
