Typhoid vaccination considerations
My jab for 2nd dose Az vaccination is up on 1st August. I’d like to know if there is any concern on the timing of getting a Typhoid vaccination in between/after/near this Az vaccination? Or any other considerations? The jab is for me to be able to comply with food preparation regulations for food business.

Based on your explanation, we understand you are scheduled for a second dose of AstraZenecca vaccine and would like to know if you can get Typhoid vaccination also.
Based on the latest clinical guideline, it is recommended to wait at least 2 weeks after vaccination before receiving a different vaccine as long as the individual is healthy and not experiencing any symptoms. You may proceed with the Typhoid vaccine 2 weeks after receiving your second dose of AstraZeneca. However, it is best if you refer to a doctor before taking the Typhoid vaccine to prevent adverse effects, if any.
