Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.

We truly understand that you want to know whether it is fine for you to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Don’t worry, we are here to help you.

For your information, you should be vaccinated regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. It is because experts do not yet know how long you are protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. Although you have already recovered from COVID-19, it is possible that you could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 again.

The time frame that are recommended to receive vaccine after having a COVID-19 infection is as soon as you are out of quarantine, except if you have received certain medication of monoclonal antibodies during treatment.

However, it is better that you get further confirmation from a doctor or specialist , as well as report to the medical officer at your Vaccination Center, to prevent any serious complications.

You can also contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) or JKJAV.
