I was told by one of my friends that he was in a meeting at work with his colleagues who had direct contact with one of the covid 19 infected ones. So he’s asked to self quarantine for one week even tho he wasn’t the one with direct contact. Should the people who met up with this friend of mine in the last few days start self quarantine too?
Greetings, thank you for your question.
Based on the above information, we understand your concern about the problem you’re having. If you do not experience any symptoms of COVID19, it is not necessary for you to self quarantine.
Before that, you can answer a simple quiz to assess your risk (Assess Your Risk Here).
Nevertheless, If you think you have one of COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) you are advised to get check for it as we need an objective value to reassess the symptoms.
