Asthma Symptoms and Suitable Medicine to Consume
Hi Doctor, Good Day!
I am 31 y.o lady with no asthma history at early age. But lately (since last 2 years) I noticed that I’m having quite similar asthma symptoms whenever I caught fever or flu. Shortness of breath, almost impossible to take and hold deep breath, difficult to talk like not enough air or breathing, coughing and wheezing continuously. chest tightness and pain when coughing also thick yellowish mucus. All these symptoms appeared when I caught with flu. Most of the time when I visited the clinic, doctor will prescribed me with Loratadine, pain killer, cough syrup and antibiotic. When consuming the cough syrup, the wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness will become more worst. So, does it truly Asthma or just normal flu symptoms? Shall I get the inhaler or some theophylline tablet from pharmacies as standby medicine?
Please advise and thank you in advance.
