Retroverted Uterus & Thick Cervical Wall
Hi, I am 29 years old lady and four months married. I am eager to have children of my own at the first year of marriage. Being an auditor, I am so worried that my hormone was not stable and normal or I am not sure if I am having stress. Haha.
For your information, I do keep track of my ovulation and done the ovulation test every month besides having a normal and fixed period every month. I had my vagina scan on last 1st January 2020 and the doctor told me that I am having retroverted uterus and thick cervical wall.
I was so shocked and I do google about this. It sadden me that mostly woman who are having this problem difficult to have babies for the first year of marriage.
Thus, I need some insight regarding how cervical wall become thick? Do I need to take any medicine or any treatment to make it normal again? How about the chances to get baby?
About the retroverted uterus, it is normal and not so many was having this. I think I am special. hehe.

- obesity
- diabetes
- endometrial polyps
- chronic high blood pressure.
The main treatment is to identify the underlying cause to your problem. In order to do so, we need more information on your past medical history and many more. As for your chances of pregnancy, there are many patients who suffer from the disease, still able to conceive. Nevertheless, the chance depends on the thickness of your uterus lining.
