You should attempt to take the lowest quantity of Acugesic 50mg Tablet required to manage your symptoms for the shortest period of time. For as long as you need it, you should take this medication on a daily basis. Remember to take your medication on time, since missing doses will reduce its effectiveness. Dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, nausea, and constipation are some of the most frequent adverse effects of this medication. It is important to notify your doctor if any of these adverse effects do not subside or worsen. Depending on the severity of the symptoms, your doctor may be able to provide recommendations for treatment. Please inform your doctor if you have any medical problems or disorders before to using this medication to ensure that it is safe for you. Tell your doctor about all of the medications you are now taking and any that you plan to start using. The use of this medication by pregnant or nursing women should be discussed with a doctor."
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Efficacy of Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) decreases if patient is taking alcohol and patient easily become intoxicated when taking alcohol along with it, increasing the side effects of Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip).
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies revealed that Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) given at very high doses showed effects on organ development, bone tissue formation, and neonatal mortality. However, teratogenic effects were not observed. Nevertheless, limited data available on the safety of Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) in human fetal risk. Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) should not be used in pregnant women.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
A quite significant amount of Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted into the breast milk, therefore, Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) should not be used while lactating however it is not necessary to discontinue breastfeeding after a single dose of this medication
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, headches, nausea or palpitations, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with care in patients suffering from kidney diseases especially advance chronic kidney disease as its systemic elimination is reduced.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
In patients with hepatic insufficiency, the removal of Acugesic 50mg Tablet 10s (strip) is delayed, therefore it should be used cautiously.
Quick Tips
Acugesic 50mg Tablet is usually used for not more than 5 days. If you are using it for long term, you will need to regularly follow up with your doctor.
Repeated usage of Acugesic 50mg Tablet may develop in physical and psychological dependency even at acceptable doses.
Take Acugesic 50mg Tablet with meals to avoid stomach discomfort
May cause dizziness. Use Acugesic 50mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention.
Notify your doctor if you have liver or renal problems as your dosage will be needed to be altered.
