Alcohol consumption and COVID-19 vaccine

Hi doc, I am a 35 years old man. Is it possible if i drink alcohol before or after the vaccination? Thank you

Greetings! Thank you for your questions.

For your information, consuming alcohol before and after vaccination is not recommended because we are afraid that the effects of alcohol will interfere with the effectiveness of the vaccine inside the body. Therefore, you need to make sure that you are physically in a good condition before taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to health experts in the United Kingdom and Russia, they emphasize that individuals should avoid the consumption of alcoholic beverages for a while before and after receiving COVID-19 vaccine injections.
