COVID-19 - Restricted Movement Order and face mask requirement on the road in the car or riding a motorcycle
If workers comes to work by his/ own transport for essential services, is it mandatory to provide face mask by employer during transit from home to workplace and verse vice?
Employee use car or motorbike when coming to work for essential services in an electronic company.
During entering the premise the company provide face mask 1 pc and after lunch time, 2nd pc is provided.
Need your advise on the mandatory requirement to wear face mask during transit on road during RMO.

We understand your worries especially with the development of symptoms indicative but not exclusive of COVID-19. The usage of facemask in car and on the road is not necessary unless you are sick. In addition to that, employers may provide face mask to workers who are sick but it is better to advice those who have symptoms to stay at home.
