Hi, I would like to ask if there is any regulation from the MOH for the travellers, coming back from overseas, to be quarantined at home for 14 days. Please advise.

According to our MOH protocol, self-quarantine is indicated for the following scenarios:
- Close contact with positive cases, with or without symptoms.
- Symptomatic with travel history to high risk countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Italy and Iran.
- Symptomatic with history of close contact with people confirmed with COVID-19 infection.
Self-quarantine should also be an order from a doctor. This is because those that undergoes quarantine will be tested twice for the presence of COVID-19 virus in the blood stream.
You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
