Greetings. Thank you for your questions.

We understand your concern regarding this matter. Don’t worry we are trying our best to comfort you.

Based on latest information, taking the COVID-19 vaccine is highly recommended for those who have chronic diseases. Studies show that humans who have underlying diseases will have more severe symptoms and complications when infected with the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, prevention with vaccines is very important.

However, it is better that you get further confirmation from your doctor or specialist at a nearby clinic or hospital, as well as report to the medical officer at your Vaccination Center. You may also need to provide the Pre Vaccine Assessment (PVA) if you are taking any anticoagulant drugs approved in Malaysia.

You are suggested to get online consultations with our doctors for more information and second opinion regarding your problem.

You can also contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) or JKJAV. In addition, continue the routine of regular hand hygiene, practice social/physical incarceration, wear face masks outdoors and adhere to other pandemic SOPs.
