Male, 21 years old. Both left and right got the issues as mentioned. I accidentally scraped a small piece off today, and the chain reaction causing a layer has been scraped off. I was a little curious about whether inside that layer it was the teeth or the gums, and I poked it with my nails and it bleeds a little. It doesn’t hurt much now, it’s just a little numb. May I ask how what’s going on to my teeth. . .

For your information, the yellow sandy stuff that you scraped off the root of your tooth are tooth calculi, usually formed, thickened by time and due to unsatisfactory cleaning. The gum bleeding after u scraped off the calculi is a normal symptoms that happens, because the callus will be able to invade the superficial of the gums after thickened.
If left untreated, it may formed caries later.
Frosting your tooth can slow down the callus formation. You may refer this mater to a dentist for a proper cleansing and removing of your tooth calculi. Get advices from them of how to take care of your condition.
