Warts on my anal region part

I’m man in 20’s and currently I’m having anal warts, one is a very small lump and another one is slightly bigger with white tips. I ignored at first since I thought it was just external hemorrhoids until I check it thoroughly.

I didn’t have any penetration and I don’t have any serious illness for now.

So should I purchase some creams and call it a day or need to make an appointment with doctor, although for the latter, I might need guidance.

Greetings! Thank you for your questions.

First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. For your information, warts caused by HPV infection or human papilloma virus. HPV usually spreads through sexual intercourse or from mother to child during the birth process. Besides, HPV also carries a risk for oral cancer or anal cancer, especially among people who have sex through the mouth and anus.

There are various types of methods that can be used to treat warts. One of the methods that can be used is to use a topical medication or wart adhesive. Wart adhesives are less suitable for use on the anus so rubbing medicine is most suitable for you. Topical medication suggested is in the form of creams, liquids or gels. Because topical medication takes a long time to remove warts, doctors can remove warts using cryotherapy or laser.
