7y/o girl with fever and sore throat. All family members have similar symptoms
26 y/o, women, c/o fever, sore throat, coughing, flu, chest tightness for 4 days. H/o eating at crowded place(outdoor eating place) two days prior to fever. Day 7, no fever coughing and flu. Day 8 only coughing, day 11 well and healthy. Family members who eating together have similar symptoms but already resolve. Currently, a 7y/o girl, just shows back symptoms of fever, sore throat for three days. What should we do? Do we have risk of COVID 19 or it is only symptoms of URTI?

Thank you for you question. Given the history of URTI that was circulating amongst the other family members, there is a high chance that it is another case of URTI for this young girl. As you know, the symptoms of COVID-19 is not very different from symtpoms of other URTI.
