AZ vaccine for Covid-19
Hi, few years ago i discovered that i have a small holes in between the ventricle that cause abnormal heartbeat (Murmur). The doctor mentioned that it was not life threatening, no surgery needed. however if there is blood cloth, there is higher risk for stroke, that usually happens for people at younger age. I would like to get the opinion is the AZ vaccine is safe for my condition as i read that AZ may cause thrombosis. Thank you.

Greetings! Thank you for your questions.
For your information, COVID-19 vaccine has been approved to be safe for use. You may experience mild to moderate common side effects similar to other vaccines. Taking the COVID-19 vaccine is highly recommended for those who have chronic diseases. Studies show that humans who have underlying diseases will have more severe symptoms and complications when infected with the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, prevention with vaccines is very important.
However, it is better that you get further confirmation from a doctor or specialist at a nearby clinic or hospital, as well as report to the medical officer at your Vaccination Center.
You can also contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) or JKJAV. In addition, continue the routine of regular hand hygiene, practice social/physical incarceration, wear face masks outdoors and adhere to other pandemic SOPs.
