AztraZaneca vaccination

I am aspirin, insulin (insulated & atrapid), metformin, simvastatin, telmisartan and galvus, can I inject with Astrazeneca vaccine?

Greetings! Thank you for your questions.

For your information, COVID-19 vaccine has been approved to be safe for use. Taking the COVID-19 vaccine is highly recommended for those who have chronic diseases. Studies show that humans who have underlying diseases will have more severe symptoms and complications when infected with the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, for now, prevention with any types of vaccines is very important. As for AstraZeneca vaccine, it is also safe for individual who have chronic diseases.

However, it is better that you get further confirmation from a doctor or specialist at a nearby clinic or hospital, as well as report to the medical officer at your Vaccination Center.

You can also contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) or JKJAV. In addition, continue the routine of regular hand hygiene, practice social/physical incarceration, wear face masks outdoors and adhere to other pandemic SOPs.
