Close Contact to A Coronavirus Patient

My colleague’s daughter recently tested positive for Covid 19 but my colleague is not going for the test. What should the office do?

Good morning. Thank you for your inquiries.

First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding the current situation that you are facing. Based on our opinions, your office should take further precautions and steps to prevent from other colleagues to be infected by the various. It is best for you to provide/request a temporary leave for your colleague and pursue him to undergo the COVID-19 test and we strongly suggest you to call the nearest authorities such as the KKM CPRC number who is in-charge of the COVID-19 pandemic control. Heavy sanitation and strict quarantination may be expected.
If your have no control over the situation, you should talk to your higher up to handle this situation.
Make sure you and your other colleagues are safe. Follow the provided SOP accordingly, practice social distancing, and always keep your environment safe and maintain personal hygiene.
