Good evening
Thank you for the question.
Based on your statement, we understand that you are concern about your family condition. here, i am trying to help you with your problem.
According to the WHO, reported side effects to COVID-19 vaccines have mostly been mild to moderate and short-lasting. They include:
- Fever
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- Chills
- Diarrhoea
- Pain at the injection site
The chances of any of these side effects following vaccination differ according to the specific COVID-19 vaccine.
However, according to KKM, symptoms of Covid 19 include:
Most common symptoms:
- Fever
- Dry cough
- Tiredness
Less common symptoms:
- Aches and pains
- Sore throat
- Diarrhoea
- Conjunctivitis
- Headache
- Loss of taste or smell
- A rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes
Serious symptoms:
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Chest pain or pressure
- Loss of speech or movement
Therefore, I think it is normal to get a side effect after you got the vaccine. But, you should bring your family to see doctor if the symptoms become worse or it remains for a long period of time. You can also talk to our doctors through online consultation for more information and proper treatment.
We hope that this answer will satisfy you. Thank you.
