Based on the current recommendation, patients with mild illness can still be vaccinated. However, if its a moderate or a severe form of illness, you may be advised to postpone your vaccination. Your doctor will have to evaluate your health before deciding.
To answer your second question, if someone received vaccination while being unaware of being Covid positive, they may proceed with home quarantine and monitor their symptoms daily as instructed by their doctor. They may then be scheduled for vaccination after recovery from the infection.
