According to your statement, we believe a thorough clerking, investigation and examination needs to be done first on our behalf, in order to clearly assess the potential positive symptoms of COVID-19. Correspondingly, the plausibility of a false-negative test should not be the reason for us to postpone COVID-19 screening,

• as a different individual might have a different rate an infected virus multiplies in the body
• there will usually be two sets of test for a COVID-19 screening spanning a few days apart
• the sensitivity of a COVID-19 swab test is very high in order to adequately reduce any sort of false-negative or even false-positive results
