Having sore throat cough and fever for 4 days. When should I test?
Hi Doctor, I have no recent traveling history but working in City center. I had sore throat since Thursday… And having fever on and off till today (4th day), coupled with the sore throat and dry cough…
I had informed my superior on my condition and was asked to do the test before I come to work next week, to ensure that I don’t have the Covid19 and not to spread the virus to others…
My question is on the test requirement. At what condition will the hospital accept me for the test? For example, after how many days after symptoms like fever, sore throat and cough appeared, etc? Will they accept if my risk result is Low to medium risk? Should I wait further until my risk level increased to med high?
Please advise… Tq
Note: for add info, my daughter is also having the same symptoms on the same day as mine till today.
