Based on the above information, we understand your concern about the problem you’re having. For your information, not all itch in private areas are due to jock itch. In fact, itching in the back may be related to worms. Therefore, if it is severe, it is best that you consult a doctor to be evaluated physically as most skin problems may look the same but are actually of different diagnosis.

Generally, itchiness in private area can be caused by:

  • tinea cruris caused by infection of a group of fungi
  • seborrheic dermatitis due to sensitivity of the scalp
  • contact dermatitis due to the use of clothing that does not absorb sweat
  • candidiasis is a fungal infection
  • flexural psoriasis - a type of autoimmune disease

It should be noted that the remedy for this problem should be addressed consistently. Some of the things you are encouraged to do to reduce the incidence are:

  • Lose weight so that the skin of the thighs does not slide
  • Avoid wearing tight pants
  • Make sure the parts are dry. Wear underwear that absorbs sweat like cotton
  • Avoid sharing towels or using wet towels
  • Avoid sharing underwear or sheets and so on

However, if the cause of this problem is not resolved, it can be repeated. To know the exact cause of the problem you are facing, more information is needed before a conclusion can be drawn.
