My son’s eye turned a bit red on the corner

My son is 20 months old. For last 3/4 days, I have noticed that some part of the left corner of his right eye has turned red. Though he didn’t show any sign of pain or itchiness or sleeping problem, the reddish shade of his eye remains without any change. Please advise me on what to do now.
