What happens to the Covid-19 Positive Individuals Who Does Not Have Symptoms?

What will happen to the Covid-19 Positive Individuals who were asked by the relevant authorities to stay home for 14-day quarantine - because they do not have symptoms? Does this make them a weak-positive individual?

If this weak-positive individual have quarantined for 14 days (or even more), but still do not develop any symptoms, does it mean this person is considered ‘cured’ OR still considered as positive but they are not contagious AND they are allowed to carry on day to day as usual, meaning meeting people, going to work etc.?

Will this same weak-positive individual be carrying the positive status ‘forever’ until he/she gets vaccinated?

And is it safe for low risk/ casual contact individuals be in contact with this weak-positive individual?

Good evening, thank you for contacting us.

We understand you concern regarding this issue. For your information, some of the patient who are COVID-19 positive might not show symptoms which makes them an asymptomatic. There are no such thing as weak-positive individual or strong-positive individual. Once they are diagnosed positive, it is just positive.

On top of that, the purpose of the quarantine is to isolate the patient, prevent the spread and gives the body times to provide immunity in the body so that the individual immune system can resist the infection in the future. Other than that, research founded that the individual will be still positive for months after the initial infection but he or she is safe to work with everyone and taking into account that safety measure has been taken (i.e wearing mask and practicing a good hand hygiene).

Boost your immune system with a balanced diet and good nutrition.

However, we are unsure for how long someone remains positive as research of the virus is still ongoing. According to CDC, vaccination won’t cause the person to be positive of the virus on viral test but you may be positive on antibody testing. Antibody indicates that you might have previous infection by the virus and you have protection against COVID-19 virus to a certain degree.

After the quarantine period has passed, it is possible for healthy individuals to be in contact with asymptomatic patients but safety measure must be applied as well.
