Hi doctor. Currently im taking Noriday. My son is entering 9 months old soon. The nurse at the KK asked me to change the pill to the hormonal ones as she said once our child is starting to eat or i already on my period, mini pills is no longer working. So could you suggest a hormonal pills that are safe for breastfeeding? My son is still breastfeeding apart from drinking fm. But hes more to bf than fm.

Greetings. Thank you for your questions.
From your situation above, I understand your concern to take combined contraceptive pills (COCP) since you are still breastfeed your son. Mini pills is the only pills that are recommended to be taken by women who is still breastfeed. However, you may opt for other method of contraception such as:
birth control injection (Depo-Provera)
progesterone-releasing IUD (Mirena, Skyla)
birth control implant (Implanon, Nexplanon)
