Casual Contact - what happens next?

I am a 21-year old woman, and have received 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine. On Sat 31.07.21 I received a notification via MySejahtera that I had become a Casual Contact, and required to self-monitor my health for 10 days. What I would like to know is what will happen next after 10 days? Will my status change to Low Risk (if I remain healthy for the next 10 days) or will I have to undergo a swab test?

Hello, thank you for your enquiry.

For your information, any casual contact will require a minimum of 10 days self monitoring or quarantine, try to avoid crowded places and keep a safe distance from others.

In the mean time, try to observe yourself if you develop any sign and symptoms such as fever, chills, sore throat, cough, headache, loss of taste, loss of smell, lethargy, nausea and vomiting. Immediately update your MySejaterah app about your status or dial CPRC line at 0388810200/60178429454 if you have those symptoms.

In the other hand, if you are normal for those 10 days without having signs and symptoms of infection, you MySejaterah app will update by itself and state you as low risk after that.

Keep in mind that vaccine provide sufficient immunity and protection for us but does not means that you are 100% free from infection. Please do follow SOP and maintain personal hygiene. If you still concern about your status, you may purchase any KKM approved Covid test kit which are quite accurate for its resutls.
