Covid-19 Test condition

Hi doctor, after we received the covid-19 vaccination, is it true that we might get the test results as positive if perform the covid-19 swab test or test with self test kit? Thanks.

Hi and thank you for your question.
We understand your concern and would like to help.
No, the vaccine won’t cause you to test positive on a COVID-19 viral test, such as the PCR or antigen tests. However, you may test positive for the antibody test(serology), due to developing an immune response.
Thank you and we hope our replied answered you.
