Hi and thank you for your question,

We truly understand your concern regarding a potentially delayed puberty, low testosterone level and the ack of other significant signs such as having kids genitals, no moustache, beard or armpit hair and manly voice. We will try to help you.

For your information, delayed puberty is a condition when a male has not yet undergone primary sexual growth between the age of 9-15. Specifically, the signs of delayed puberty in male include:

  • penis & testicle not starting to grow larger by the age of 14
  • genital and terminal hair growth that takes longer than 5 years
  • shorter stature compared to his peers on average

Although delayed puberty can be associated with constitutional delay (late bloomer) that can be seen throughout the family history, it could however be a sign of a serious condition that requires doctor’s attention, such as

  • malnutrition
  • chronic underlying illness
  • problems of the pituitary or thyroid gland
  • genetic disorder
