Epilepsy happened too frequent

Hi. I’m a 26 years old women. I have epilepsy for 4 years now. But previously it only happens once a year so doctor give me choice whether to take meds or not. And i refuse because for it only happens once a year and the meds need to be taken daily just to prevent it happened. Still not 100%. So i said no. But this year alone, my epilepsy happened for 4 times already. What can i do to avoid this from happening? My last episode so bad that i broke my front tooth in half. Note: I have appointment in hospital this july
