Occasional dry cough, slight phlegm and sore throat

Hi, I’m 27 y/o. My aunt, who is 70 y/o, just came back from a 3 day trip to Genting Highlands on 4th March. She was down with high fever which didn’t subside for 2 days, along with flu and cough. She works in a hospital as a customer service staff. After consulting her hospital’s MO, he suggested she get herself tested for Covid-19 but gave her some antibiotics to see if the flu goes off. My aunt refuses to go for the Covid test, saying that she is recovering from her flu. She doesn’t have fever anymore, but still has cough and runny nose.
I’ve been having occasional dry coughs, I feel some mucus buildup / phlegm at the back of my throat, and I have a mild sore throat. Should I get myself tested for Covid 19?
