Pain between arch and heel on foot

22 years old female. I have been experiencing pain between the arch and heel of my foot, which is more obvious when stretching and walking. This has been lasting for about 2 weeks. My feet is on the flatter side, so I am used to experiencing pain and soreness at the arch when I walk for too long, but it always resolve after a few hours or a day.

Hello and thank you for writing your health concern on this platform.

Based on your question, I understand that you are worried about your problem. I will try to help you.

You are having painful arch, exaggerated by movements for 2 weeks. There are few possible causes for your symptom, and I would suggest you to examine and do imaging as per needed if the issue persists. Direct force, ligament sprains, muscle strains, poor biomechanical alignment, stress fractures, overuse, inflammatory arthritis or the tightness or lack of tightness of the joints in the foot may all cause pain in the arch.

You may relieve your pain by RICE protocol.
Rest, Icepacks, Compression or stabilise by bandages, Elevate your foot area

You can also contact our doctor online for further information and management.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you.
