Leg Shin, pain on the muscle and inflamaton

Hi my mother has pain on her lower feet somewhere around the top of tibia or fibula bone, abit of inflammation and can feel abit hard and something inside it, the pain level is about 6/10 and will feel pain once keep the leg straight, we do some research on internet called leg shin but my mom are not often exercise.

Your question is about your mother having signs and symptoms of musculoskeletal system, such as pain over the upper part of the shin with inflammation and the pain appears when she straighten her leg. You also claims to felt some swelling over the inflammatory site.

For your information there are a few reasons for such pain over the upper part of the shin.
