Concern of being infected, but no symptoms

Hi Doctor, if my colleague’s nephew’s teacher is tested positive for coronavirus, and my colleague had once contacted with his nephew however my colleague and nephew is not being tested and no symptoms of coronavirus, do I have the chance of being infected? My colleague last contacted with his nephew was on 9 March

Hi!

Thank you for your question. The person who is in direct contact with a positive case of COVID-19 is the one at high risk of contracting COVID-19. Otherwise, unidentified direct contact or public contact may be the cause of COVID-19 infection.

I hope this answers your question. Thank you.
