Hi there. Thank you for your questions. If you’re following the news regarding coronavirus, the number of cases in south Korea is increasing and they has raised its coronavirus alert to the “highest level” especially southeastern are of Daegu area. However, they are no restriction in entering or leaving the city yet.
Thus, it is best to avoid any non-essential travel to Korea at the moment. However, if you can’t postponed the travel these are the precaution guidelines from Centre of Disease Control (CDC) to prevent the coronavirus:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
