COVID-19 quarantine procedure advisory for workplace

My company has an employee just returned back from Incheon South Korea yesterday. Should we request this employee to self quarantine at home for 14 days prior coming back to office?

Thanks for your question. The quarantine is a method of preventing the transmission of COVID-19 if the employee is suffering from the disease. However, it is not necessarily to be done if he/ she is free from the virus. It is recommended to have your employee to be screened and checked regarding the status of virus infection as he has been recently traveled to one of the country that has been affected by the disease and if he/ she is having the symptoms of the disease.

If your employee are experiencing any of the symptoms, we greatly suggest that you ask him/ her to refer this to your nearest medical doctor. You may also click on this link (KKM COVID-19) to speak with our doctors online. We assure you that our conversations are kept in confidentiality unless additional consultation needed with other medical parties. Thank you.
