Covid 19 vaccine but with allergy to medicine

I’ve allergy to painkillers medicine like paracetamol, ibuprofen and etc. If I take these medicine, my eyes will be swollen and has difficulty in breathing.

I went to clinic twice and took injection for this allergy reaction that happened to me.

Can I still be vaccinated?

For your information, the latest Covid-19 vaccination guideline showed that you can receive Covid 19 vaccine even if you allergy to painkillers, NSAIDs. In general speaking, the chemical substances of painkillers has no relation with the Covid vaccines.

However, you must inform the health workers, doctors in the vaccine center and explain your allergic reaction to them. You may require a longer period of observation in the controlled room or observation room after you receive the vaccine.
