Hi Doc ,
Im currently in situation where all of my colleague and myself must go through PCR test due to one of us got covid Positive .
Im fully aware the serious downside if a consumer got positive covid and have death possibilities since theres other substance that could give med some probs.
As im about to attend my first psychiatric appointment in addiction within these 1-2 days,im worried if i got myself tested and my PCR test result somehow appears that im an active consumer, im quite sure im in trouble after that.
But , does the PCR covid test result shows anything about it eventho im Negative in Covid?
Kindly enlighten with some advice perhaps.

As far as I’m concern, PCR test specifically function to detect the presence of the coronavirus virus within the human body. Hence the plausibility of such a test to detect other than its purpose is highly unlikely.
