Hi there. First of all I’m sorry to hear that your friend are infected with coronavirus and currently in ICU. It must be difficult for your friend, his family as well as you.

However, it is difficult to answer your question regarding his recovery chances as further information needed before I can say anything. What I would suggest to you is, just keep supporting him. Told him that, to date, 139 number of patients are treated. He could be the next 140.

You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

After 5.00 pm till 12.00 am, please direct your enquiries to our DoctorOnCall website at this link https://www.doctoroncall.com.my/tanya/.

Sorry that I can’t help much. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you to stay put at home as ordered by the authorities. With everyone’s cooperation, I hope we can conquer this outbreak before it get any worse. Thank you.
