Periods with implant
Hi Doctor. I am using implant from last 3 years. it was good and I was getting my periods on time , only few months in between this period, my periods were late from 3-6 days. after 3 years , I removed and then reinsert new implant at same time from doctor. after I injected new implant, my periods are delayed more than 10 days. Is it normal…?

For your information, the main working mechanism of an implant in preventing pregnancy is by stopping ovulation through the release of a hormone.
Commone side effect of using implant is that it can cause changes to your menstrual bleeding. To some women, their period may be less frequent or stop. While in others, their periods are more frequent and last longer.
