Screening test for Covid19

A member of our Quran class is now in SBH. Do other members have to be screened although we don’t show any symptoms. We last met him on 11/3

First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding this issue of coronavirus since we’re in the midst of outbreak.

Screening should be done if you’re the close contact of individual with positive result. By definition through the context of coronavirus infection, close contact is someone who has been face to face for at least 15 minutes, or been in the same closed space for at least 2 hours.

If you are a close contact, you should present yourself to Designated Hospital for COVID-19 for further evaluation and investigation even if you shows no symptoms.

You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
