Side Effect After Pfizer Sec Dose Vaccination For Cancer & Heart Patient

My mother is 63 years old consuming tomoxifen n riboxaban…after 5/8/2021 dose 2, at the shoulder where being inject turn dark green black blue effect as big as fist of hand…now on 7/8/21 the size like that just only dark black…so is it dangerous??

For your information, the blue black discolouration, ecchymosis over the injection site is a common side effect of intramuscular injection, which is performed for covid-19 vaccination. This happen because the needle insertion itself is a form of irritation to the skin and the underneath tissues, blood vessels.

It is normal and it will heal by itself within few days up to 1 week or so depends on the size of the discolouration. The other common side effects are fever, chills, muscle pain or joint pain, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, dizziness, headache, sore throat and others.

If your mother ever develop any of these symptoms, it is common and it will subsided within few days up to 1 week depends on each person. If the symptoms is worsen or she developed other form of symptoms please kindly contact 999 or dial CPRC at 0388810200/+60178429454 to report her side effects.
