Side effects of fluconazole?

hi doctor, I was prescribed with fluconazole for fungal infection and i took the meds yesterday. However, will the medicine cause blood in urine and a little stomach cramps as side effects?

Fluconazole medication is used to prevent and fight a variety of yeast and fungal infections. It belongs to a class of medication called azole groups. It acts by preventing the growth of certain types of yeast like candida for example.

Take this medication is taken orally with or without food as directed by your GP, usually once daily. If you are taking the liquid suspension form of this drugs, shake the bottle well before using each dose. It is good to measure the dose first using a special measuring thing like spoon. If can do not use a normal kitchen spoon because you may not get the correct dose.

Dosage is based on your health conditions, it is measured by your doctor based on your response to treatment. This medication acts best when the amount of drugs in your body is kept at a same level. Thus, consume it at the same time each day as per usual. Continue to take this oral medication until the full prescribed dosage is finished, even if symptoms are gone within a few days.
