Sjogren’s Syndrome taking Covid-19 Vaccine
I have Sjogren’s syndrome and concern about taking the Covid-19 Vaccine. Is it safe for me to take them and is there a specific Vaccine for my condition?

As a matter of fact, COVID-19 vaccine is safe and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated that the person with autoimmune disease may receive the vaccine and they acknowledge that there are no data available on the safety of the vaccine for the individuals with autoimmune diseases.
Back to the question, is Sjorgen’s syndrome’s patient should take the vaccine?
The answer is yes. But the patient needs to be evaluated further and a discussion with the doctor is highly encouraged so that the patient know how the vaccine work and how the vaccine could protect them from complications of COVID-19 infection.
