Travelling from Europe

Hey Doc,

I’ve recently travelled to Berlin, Germany from 25th Feb - 3 March.

I have not experienced any symptoms that the covid19 online test suggest, but this second wave however has given a bit of an unease.

For now, I feel it’s just fatigueness and jet lag. But I am really keen to know what’s your recommendation on this matter right now? Thank you.

Hello,good day to you!

I understand your concern about the COVID19 outbreak,given that you have recently travelled to Berlin,Germany. I recommend to practice the following ;

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

You should monitor closely your health for any signs of symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath. You are encouraged to repeat the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories.
