There are two types of herpes simplex virus infection or HSV have been identified as mouthwash or cold sores in the mouth or cold sores caused by HSV 1 and genital herpes caused by HSV 2. HSV 1 usually spreads through the sharing of tools and kisses with people with HSV ulcer or cold sore. HSV 2 usually spreads through unprotected sex.
HSV infection causes ulcers or watery skin rashes. Symptoms such as fever and lymph nodes can also occur. The ulcers contain active and propagated HSV by contact. The rash will usually heal within 2 to 4 weeks but the person with low defense will take longer to heal. Factors that can cause repetitive rashes include fatigue, unhealthy eating and menstruation.
