Digigit Kucing dan ada bump
Hi saya baru digigit kucing 2 hari lepas 25/3. Saya digigit di jari manis. I got rid the blood and washed it by soaps and put sanitizer on. I searched on if i possibly got infections by cat bite and it said possibility. Just want to asked, until today, there’s no rashes or anything odd. Only bump on the bitten area (the tissue swollen?) And it feels hurt when i touched it. Can you enlighten me on this matter. I want to go to theclinic and have a check, but too scared to the possibility of infected by Covid-19.

Thank you for your question. According to our academic search, there are still no evidences that shows domestic animals like pets are spreading this coronavirus. Wild animals is believed to be the source of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, cats can still carry other diseases like rabies. You are encouraged to go to a GP clinic to do a check up. Take necessary precautions when leaving the house such as social distancing, and regular hand wash.
