Frequent High Blood Sugar during Fasting Month

Currently my mother is fasting during Ramadhan, however she frequently have high reading of blood sugar (around 10). What i observe is that during sahur she only eats either Kurma or boiled potato. During berbuka she sometimes eats yong tau foo, a lil bit of rice with side dish.
