Need for quarantined?
Hi I’m also a medical Officer just returned from japan. And I have to resume my work immediately. Would rather not quarantine if possible. Can I take the test just for confirmation. Currently I am well and asymptomatic

Thank you for your question. According to the recent announcement from our prime minister regarding the movement restriction, everyone returning from other countries are advised to undergo self-quarantine for 14 weeks. As you are a medical officer, it is vital for you to take this precaution due to the nature of your work which is dealing with patients that may have low immunity. Throughout these 14 days, there is a daily self-monitoring form that must be filled to monitor any development of symptoms.
